“My students had fun!” said Cynthia Dale, a teacher from New York. “The contest was great because it allowed us to combine research, writing, speaking, and technology all in a creative manner.”
Samsung, a leader in document camera technology, is continuing its fall SUPERHERO competition. Students can submit an entertaining video portraying their favorite hero in history – and the student who wins gets $500 and their class receives a SAMCAM 860 document camera. By getting into character they gain a better knowledge and understanding of who their chosen pioneer was and the impact they left on our country. Years from now when they think of Pocahontas or George Washington, they can remember how much fun they had participating in the competition. Take a look at the past winner’s videos and find out more information on how to post your entry in the current competition. http://samsungk-12.com
