Setting up some regular writing drills does not have to be difficult nor cumbersome, but the key is making it a regular part of the school week.

A homeschooling mom can quickly become overwhelmed with the endless task list of teaching a child at home. Finding new home-school curriculum, determining what subjects to teach and when to teach them, the actual implementation of the curriculum, reading and explaining directions to young ones, checking papers, keeping records, updating the school planner, getting supplies for the hands-on projects, scheduling the experiments and supervising them, running back and forth to sports practice and music lessons...and the list goes on.

I am not going to argue and say that the there are not a lot of misguided homeschool families out there but that is another story. There are also plenty of homeschool families out there that are dong a great job and raising children that will excel in the real world. Here is how I deal with the obscene homeschool opposition.
